St Andrews

Royal Dornoch

Royal Dornoch

The home of golf.

For more than 600 years St Andrews Links, much like the game of golf itself, has evolved. Today more than 230,000 rounds are played over seven public courses. St Andrews Links also manages a number of additional facilities including three clubhouses and four shops.

Royal Dornoch

Royal Dornoch is a setting that makes such a pleasing place to play golf. It's wild, isolated and, at the same time, absolutely beautiful; there's the blaze of colour in early summer when the gorse is in flower. The pure white sandy beach divides the links from the Dornoch Firth and it all feels very humbling.

Muirfield

Royal Dornoch

Machrihanish

Muirfield is a renowned host to major championships amateur and professional, international and national, men and ladies – all of which have produced worthy champions of whom more later. Eleven Amateur Championships have been played over the course and 16 Open Championships.

Machrihanish

The 18 hole Championship Course is set in the wonderful Machrihanish Dunes by the small village of Machrihanish.
It's a joy to play and most of the time very quiet, allowing the visitor to relish the ups and downs of the fairways and the tussle with undulating greens.

Carnoustie

Carnoustie

Carnoustie is the finest test of championship golf to be found anywhere the game is played.

Allan Robertson, the first player to break 80 around the Old Course at St Andrews and now recognised the games first professional golfer, was the man who laid out the original course back in the middle of the 19th century.

Turnberry

Carnoustie

Named after the third Marquess of Ailsa, who owned the land on which it was built, this par-71, 6,474-yard Championship course is one of golf's storied places. Home to four Open Championships, Ailsa has shaped some of the most remarkable moments in the tournament's history.
